I'm a Brooklyn-based artist and childcare professional. I created Happy Days as a way to combine my love of creativity, exploration, and community with my passion for working with kids.

Over the past several years, working with families in Greenpoint, I began to notice a real gap, particularly for tweens, when it comes to after-school care that feels flexible, engaging, and truly designed around their interests. Many kids are looking for more independence, more opportunities to explore, and a greater say in how they spend their time after a full day of structured school.

One of my favorite parts of working with kids is creating activities and planning adventures inspired by their ideas. Whether we're exploring a new neighborhood, making art, discovering a hidden park, or trying something completely new, I love seeing the excitement that comes from letting kids help shape the experience. Giving them the opportunity to collaborate, make decisions, and build confidence has been incredibly rewarding—and it's exactly what inspired me to create Happy Days.

My hope is that every child who joins Happy Days feels curious, capable, and excited to explore the world around them, while building friendships, independence, and lifelong memories along the way.
